AKA's Larry Korman with Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal presented the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival Founders Award for Best Narrative feature to Feo Aladag, the producer, director, and writer of When We Leave.  The final award of the evening highlighted the week long celebration of independent film.  The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 2002 by Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro to revitalize the TriBeCa neighborhood in Manhattan following the devastating effects of September 11, 2001. The Tribeca Film Festival celebrates New York City as a major filmmaking center. This year's program line-up continued to honor the very best in independent filmmaking featuring documentaries, shorts, and feature films from around the world.
