Starting in 1991, a group of galleries created a Soho-like atmosphere
for all of Philadelphia to enjoy. Rain or shine, on the first Friday of
every month Old City becomes an art lovers delight, as the galleries
stay open late and a vivacious atmosphere courses through the air. The
neighborhood's nearly 40 galleries provide the perfect social scene to
interact with other people with the same interests. The casual atmosphere and Old City's many restaurants make this the perfect place to spend a Friday evening. 5- 9PM.
