February is poetry month at The Cocaine and they honor this string of weeks with their event Indigo Lounge. Open mic, live music and cuts spun by the DJ are all of the artistic promises of the night, bringing a funk and cultural experience to anyone who attends. In addition to the focus being poetry month, the Indigo Poetry Lounge wants to spread awareness of the homeless population and will be offering discounted covers in exchange for a canned food donation towards the homeless.
