I absolutely LOVE the AKA.

The staff was so kind and helpful and the rooms are the biggest and the best rooms I have had the pleasure to stay in while in NYC. It is perfect for Musicians and artists. I was able to set out my costumes and have my makeup people come and still have room for my instruments and I carry a lot of stuff with me when we are touring!!! The hardwood floors are beautiful. I felt like I was in my own fabulous apt.in NYC.

I had completely forgotten to get directions to the office for the first day of work. I called the front desk, not only did the front desk attendant find me the directions, she printed them and brought them to my suite for me. This reflects my entire time with AKA, the staff was always so eager to help.

I was more than happy to find a pristine suite upon my late night arrival. I was even more delighted to slip into the bed. How comfortable. The linens and pillows made me feel so relaxed. The hardest part is actually leaving the bed in the morning. Its perfect for people like me who wake up in different cities everyday and can never get any sleep! I get very excited when I know I get to go to any of your locations.

I can't say enough about this property. The pool, gym, business center, breakfast in the morning and above all the friendliness of the staff, make this the best experience I have had traveling in my career!

The staff knows you by name and greets you at the door every night—sometimes with your dry cleaning in hand. AKA offers so much, but the team in your building really make it shine, and are always ready to make dinner reservations, recommend shows, and find whatever you need. Better than being home! The staff is the friendliest I have ever met. I have had such a great experience at AKA that I would consider coming here on leisure travel with my family.

As a leader of a company I am sure you appreciate feedback, both good and bad, about what's going on “on the ground”. I would like to take a moment to describe my experience so far at your New York City property on East 46th. I took a job at JPMorgan on May 15, and took up temporary residence at the property commuting from Denver. I have made several substantial moves in my career so I had a set of expectations going into this experience. Everything about this experience has been outstanding and AKA has exceeded my expectations in every way. So I felt it important for you to know.

The accommodations and property are exquisitely maintained. Windows and sidewalks are always clean at the street level and each of your doorman has a great attitude. Your front desk always greets you with a smile and go out of their way to be helpful with directions or suggestions. Coffee area and business office are always immaculate but I rarely notice anyone cleaning. Newspapers are always available and internet and printer works every time. The exercise room is always clean and inviting.

MJ who showed me the property in early May has been a model of professionalism and intensely cares about performance. Barbara is so very capable and really gets across that she is willing to accommodate any special needs. She obviously must manage the staff extremely well. Stephanie just has that special sparkle and energy. She always seems to be …“on it”, I have complete confidence that whatever I request will be done with no need to ask twice. Finally, Noel is very professional and was most helpful in providing information and even making calls for me to join a gym. In short, they all seem similarly focused on providing exceptional service for their guests.

I really could go on citing more examples and would be happy to discuss my experience further, if you wish. You really have an outstanding property and great concept and I am glad to hear you will be expanding in New York City soon. As I'm sure you are well aware the people make the difference. Your people at that property are simply the best and do make the difference.

Thank you for my wonderful stay at AKA in Philadelphia! Your staff, Joe and John, were so warm and friendly. The unit was beautiful! I really appreciated the nice basket of goodies you left, and John left my kids a tray with candy on it for them to enjoy. They felt so special.

The night views from the room were amazing. We turned out all the lights in the room, sat on the bed and just loved looking out at everything. The breakfast was just right with big muffins, crisp apples and hot chocolate. We felt so pampered with the big, fluffy towels, soft beds and pretty music which we played each night when we went to bed.

Joe was the best, pointing out affordable restaurants within walking distance from the building. He was so nice to us and welcomed us each time we came to the door. I have heartily recommended AKA to everyone here at AIReS.

Moving Relocation To The Next Level!

Our stay was fantastic! The floors were pristine and quiet and our Suite was immacualte and provided all of the essentials (and more).

I booked my reservation through Citicard's ThankYou Network. I originally selected a hotel, purely on location and they called back the following day, informing me they had unfortunately overbooked their hotel and had to deny my reservation. It was pure luck that the representative suggested AKA Sutton as an alternative. I logged on to your website and was immediately impressed and accepted the reservation.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and I hardly finished saying my name before the gentlemen at the front desk knew of our exact reservation. Exceptional customer service! Check-in was very prompt and efficient. The suite was very stylish, clean, and comfortable. Having a kitchen was so special and unique.

I've traveled to 10 countries and have stayed in five star hotels, even in Switzerland, Denmark, etc. and no suite has ever been layed out so well and has been as inviting to me as a guest. We left on Sunday morning, and the staff allowed us to stay until noon, even though check-out was 11am. The extra hour was very much appreciated as our train was delayed. Great staff and excellent room service.

Next time I come to the City, I will not have to wonder where to make my reservation; AKA Sutton will be my top choice. Thank you for a lovely stay. I will recommend to my friends, family and co-workers.

The hotel and the service at Sutton Place was fabulous. My husband thought the suite was spectacular and was greatly impressed by the thoughtful touches - including the bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. We had to try out the indoor pool and found it to be a lovely experience. The hotel's location was perfect - we were able to walk to the Museum of Modern Art as well as the many bars/restaurants in the area and easily catch a cab for our longer trips - and the parking garage next to it was both convenient and (suprisingly) affordable.

We will both make a point of telling our friends and colleagues about what a wonderful stay we had at aka Sutton Place and, as we have friends in the NYC area, we are already discussing a trip back later this year.

Now that we are somewhat settled back into our former home in SoHo and able to take a moment, we would like to thank and acknowledge everyone at our previous temporary home at the AKA United Nations.

Allan and I came to your hotel with the intention of staying for three months as our loft in SoHo was being renovated. As you know, our three-month stay extended into over 13 months.

Upon our departure we would like to share our feelings with the staff and management. We found everyone to be exceptionally warm, hospitable and gracious to us. What could have been an unfortunate set of circumstances became a wonderful memory.

The services at the hotel were first class. The cleaning and maintenance staff, all of the people at the front desk, the door, and the management staff, all were exceptionally supportive. They knew us by name and always had a friendly smile and helping hand.

Barbara Williams, you always made sure that we had all that we needed to make our stay at AKA United Nations truly comfortable. You and your staff are outstanding.

We are Native New Yorkers, currently living in another State.

Over the last 15 years we have either lived overseas or elsewhere in the USA and have stayed at Hotels in New York City for frequent Business Visits or to see Family and Friends. Our trips to New York can range from one week to one or so months.

Before we found AKA Sutton Place, we had become very disenchanted with the "Long and Short -Term Stay" Hotels available in New York City. The Better Hotels did not have Kitchen Facilities, and the Hotels offering Kitchen Facilities were, at best, in need of total renovation....shabby, dirty.

We were one of the first Guests at AKA Sutton Place....We have been back several times since...we now feel like family. The Sutton Place Location is quiet and centrally located...If we were to buy an Apartment in New York, it would be in this area.

The Hotel is beautifully appointed...every Suite that we have stayed in has been exceptional in it's own right....everything you could ask for has been thought of, whether you are staying for one week or one year.

Every Suite that we have stayed in has been ABSOLUTLEY SPOTLESS...we would not settle for anything less.

The Facility is Fabulous....having a Pool, Fitness Center and Laundry Facility on site is truly exceptional.

The Services are great.....having a well stocked Refrigerator when you arrive is just a wonderful luxury....particularly if you arrive late at night.

The Entire Staff from the General Manager to the Reception Team, Guest Services and even the Cleaning Staff have been professional, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay the best.

As Native New Yorkers and Long Time Visitors to our Home City, we know what is available in New York City and WILL ONLY STAY AT AKA SUTTON PLACE.

Many thanks for the wonderful event last night!   What a fabulous way to introduce your property; it felt more like a gathering in someone’s home as opposed to a typical cocktail reception.  AKA has redefined the corporate housing experience into the feel of a luxury residence. The amenities are top of the line and every detail is defined by elegance!

I really enjoyed having the business center available. Being able to access personal email and correspond with family and friends while away was such a relief. I got to know the staff well, picking up my coffee in the morning and checked my mail. When traveling its so nice to have a familiar face to see in the morning and when you come home.

Being able to stay at AKA Washington DC has been wonderful.  Who would have thought staying in the center of DC in a suite I would have such a large living space.  I slept better in their bed than our bed at home.  I even inquired about purchasing a bed from the supplier!

In efforts to meet deadlines, they allowed me to hold a group meeting in the on site conference room. They even helped me secure all necessary items and technology for the meeting. They went so far as to order us catered dinner to accompany our meeting. I was thoroughly impressed! I have been using Korman Communities and now AKA for the last 15 years and have found them to be far superior with regards to services and in response to requests. They have always been at the forefront. They aim to please and provide service with a smile. I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately for me I was traveling over my birthday. I had mentioned it to one of the staff members and later that week on my birthday I came home to find a birthday cake awaiting me. The staff cared that it was my birthday. Remembering to say happy birthday would have been enough but purchasing a cake for me, that's beyond impressive!
