90th Annual Historic Garden Week 

On Saturday, April 15, 2023, five of Old Town Alexandria's glorious private homes and gardens will be open to visitors as part of the 90th annual Historic Garden Week in Virginia. This is the oldest and largest house garden tour in the United States! A walking tour through Old Town Alexandria includes rare glimpses into private homes and gardens nestled along the gorgeous streets of the Historic Old Town. The five properties on tour feature remarkable historic restorations and inspiring architectural design and will showcase beautiful floral arrangements created by garden club members. Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum

Step into Harry Potter’s world by visiting the Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum filled with Harry Potter nostalgia and rich in history. This historic apothecary was founded in 1792 and operated until it was preserved as a museum in 1933. Harry Potter fans can explore the real-life ingredients used throughout the 1800s and used as “potion” ingredients in the legendary series.
