Dine, Design & seasonal sips this autumn in beverly hills
A New Season on Rodeo Drive
October brings a certain energy to Beverly Hills. With Los Angeles Fashion Week arriving October 16–18 and Rodeo Drive Timepieces & Fine Jewelry, taking place October 5–11, 2026.
More than 25 watch and jewelry houses are participating, turning the avenue into a showcase of craftsmanship, design and discovery. Cartier, Buccellati, David Yurman and Pomellato are among the maisons presenting new creations and experiences throughout the week.
Cartier brings its Into The Wild collection, inspired by the maison's celebrated menagerie. Buccellati's new Étoilée Color pieces introduce vivid rubies, sapphires, tsavorites and other gemstones to its intricate designs, while David Yurman's new Chevron Tags bring pavé diamonds and gemstones to one of the house's recognizable signatures.
Then there is Pomellato, whose new Rodeo Drive flagship brings the house's Milanese sensibility together with an unmistakably Los Angeles point of view. On October 8, the maison will open its doors for an afternoon of Franciacorta and pasticcini.
It is exactly the kind of afternoon Beverly Hills does best: beautiful things, a little champagne and nowhere you particularly need to be next.
Take the Long Way to Lunch
The pleasure of Beverly Hills is that the spaces between plans are often as enjoyable as the plans themselves.
Walk beneath the palms. Stop for lunch somewhere that has been part of the city's social fabric for decades, or choose a newer address where the room is just as much a part of the experience as what arrives at the table.
At Il Pastaio, the Canon Drive patio brings a lively, unmistakably Beverly Hills energy to lunch. Avra Beverly Hills offers a more Mediterranean mood, with pristine seafood and the kind of polished atmosphere that invites a long lunch. And for something quintessentially local, Nate'n Al's remains a beloved Beverly Hills institution, where old-school Hollywood nostalgia comes with a pastrami sandwich and a seat at the counter.
The point is not to rush through lunch.
Then Comes Cocktail Hour
By late afternoon, the light begins to soften and Beverly Hills changes with it.
At Dante Beverly Hills, the Watermelon Al Fresco brings together Don Julio Reposado Rosado, Cocchi Rosa, fresh watermelon and lime, finished with Laurent-Perrier Rosé 34. Bright, rosy and made for golden-hour sipping, it feels right at home beneath the California sun.
A few blocks away, Monsieur Dior brings a little Paris to Rodeo Drive with the J'Adior, a graceful combination of pear, elderflower and Champagne. Elegant and lightly floral, it is the sort of drink that feels as considered as the maison itself.
At Wally's Beverly Hills, the classic French 75 brings gin, fresh lemon and Champagne together in a crisp, sparkling pour, while Bad Roman's signature Sidecar leans into the evening with Cognac, citrus and a touch of sweetness.
Four drinks, four different expressions of Beverly Hills: Italian aperitivo energy, Parisian polish, classic cocktail culture and a little old-school glamour.
Save Room for Something Sweet
Of course, no afternoon of shopping, sunshine and cocktails is complete without something sweet.
Just off Rodeo Drive, andSons Chocolatiers turns chocolate into something of an art form, with beautifully finished confections that make an especially elegant take-home indulgence. A few blocks away, Pompadour Beverly Hills brings French patisserie together with unexpected Middle Eastern influences, from delicate macarons and entremets to its signature kanafeh.
And for something a little more playful, Sweet Angeles sits right on Rodeo Drive, making it an easy stop between boutiques. Its display of handcrafted mousses, cheesecakes, brownies and seasonal desserts is almost as tempting as the shopping itself.
Three very different ways to satisfy a sweet tooth, and another reminder that in Beverly Hills, even a quick treat can feel like part of the occasion.
From Rodeo to the Runway
By October, fashion is everywhere.
Los Angeles Fashion Week takes place October 16–18, 2026, at The Lot Studios in West Hollywood, bringing runway shows, designers and fashion culture to the city.
Beverly Hills makes a natural place to experience the season around it.
Spend the afternoon discovering a new piece on Rodeo Drive. Dress for dinner. Meet friends for cocktails. Wander beneath the palms as the evening settles over the city.
Fashion here has never felt entirely separate from everyday life. It is in the cars along the street, the tables outside restaurants, the storefronts glowing after dark and the people passing through Beverly Hills on their way to somewhere worth being.
Stay a Little Longer
Perhaps the greatest luxury in Beverly Hills is not having to fit everything into one afternoon.
Stay long enough to return to the boutique you loved. Long enough to discover a new restaurant. Long enough to know which cocktail you would order again.
At AKA Beverly Hills, spacious residences offer a more residential way to experience the neighborhood, with gourmet kitchens and generous living spaces designed for longer stays.
24-hour Resident Services, weekly housekeeping and secure parking add the ease of a refined residence, while a private cinema and Technogym fitness center offer places to retreat between days spent exploring the city.
After a day of fine jewelry on Rodeo Drive, a long lunch, something sweet and cocktails beneath the California sky, there is something particularly appealing about returning somewhere that feels like your own address in Beverly Hills.
