The Tastemakers: Federal Grill

Blue Ribbon Federal Grill is located within AKA Wall Street, at the corner of Maiden Lane and William Street, directly across from the Federal Reserve Building, from which it takes its name. The restaurant's large windows along Maiden Lane look out on the Federal Reserve and the triangular Louise Nevelson Plaza.

Blue Ribbon Federal Grill at AKA Wall Street is part of the Blue Ribbon Restaurants group, which is owned by chefs and brothers Eric and Bruce Bromberg. Eric is photographed here in the kitchen. The Bromberg brothers have brought an eclectic energy to this AKA downtown location with a menu that embodies the abundant 'something for everyone' philosophy that has guided the brothers throughout their careers.

The Bromberg brothers also have a great affinity and talent for fish and shellfish as part of their restaurant empire is composed of Blue Ribbon Sushi restaurants. Here, Eric prepares Butter-Poached Lobster with Corn and Miso Butter.

Blue Ribbon Federal Grill has become known for its after-work Happy Hour and busy bar, with well-made classic cocktails and extensive, thoughtful wine list, stocked with food-friendly wines from some of the leading importers in NYC such as Louis / Dressner, David Bowler, and Jenny & Francois Selections.
