a.kitchen+bar at Hotel AKA Washington Circle presents an elevated menu of seasonal American small plates, thoughtfully curated by the award-winning High Street Hospitality Group, led by 2023 James Beard Foundation Outstanding Restaurateur, Ellen Yin. Executive Chef Eli Collins and Chef de Cuisine George Madosky expertly showcase the finest seasonal ingredients from the Chesapeake region, offering exquisite dishes designed for sharing. The wine and cocktail program, designed by the Hotel AKA Rittenhouse Square team, has garnered acclaim from Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and most recently, a 2024 JBFA nomination. In the morning, guests can savor indulgent breakfast offerings such as cornmeal pancakes with lemon curd or perfectly prepared eggs, complemented by Lost Sock's artisanal, locally roasted coffee.

Guests can visit the restaurant from the Lower Lobby level of the hotel or through the entrance on New Hampshire Avenue.

Après Ski on the Terrace

The slopes might be far, but the après scene is right here. Starting December 5, join us every Friday + Saturday night and Saturday + Sunday for brunch through January 4 as we turn our outdoor space into a cozy winter hideaway.

Warm up by the fire, wrap yourself in a faux fur throw, and sip winter cocktails served in thermoses while enjoying a cold-weather menu from Chef Eli Collins—think raclette over crispy potatoes, liege waffles, and hot chocolate to finish. With great music and plenty of winter cheer, it’s the perfect spot to chill out (literally).
