AKA University City Property Updates

AKA is committed to doing everything possible to prioritize your safety, comfort, and well-being. As always, we aim to exceed your expectations of safety, cleanliness, and service.

AKA continues to follow social distancing and hygiene guidelines provided by the CDC, federal, state, and local health departments.

Social Distance, Health and Hygiene

  • With the well-being of our residents and team members in mind, please:

  • Maintain social distancing

  • Masks/ Facial Coverings required for all residents and visitors indoors regardless of vaccination status

  • Wash hands frequently for 20 Seconds

  • Use wastebaskets to discard personal trash

LEVEL 28

7:00 AM – 10:00 PM Daily 

Maximum 2 Guests Per Residence.

Outside of these hours, the floor will be closed to all resident / guest use. Failure to honor these hours may result in restrictions to those offending parties for Level 28 access.

All Level 28 small scale event inquiries will be declined until further notice.

Conference Room / Boardroom

Maximum 1 Suite per appointment.

Available for complimentary private use. There is a 2 hour per day and 2 days per week maximum per resident to allow access for all.

a.cinema 

Maximum 1 Suite per appointment.

Available for complimentary private use. Guests may reserve this for up to 2 hours.

Golf Simulator

Maximum 1 Suite per appointment.

Available for complimentary private use. Guests may reserve this for up to 2 hours.

OPEN

a.terrace 

7:00 AM – 10:00 PM Daily

Available during operating hours based on weather conditions.

Please limit terrace seating to no more than 2 hours when the space is active.

Private reservations for parties/gatherings are currently unavailable. Guests are welcome to BYO wine/beer/spirits.

Business Center

7:00 AM – 10:00 PM Daily

Please limit use to 2 hours.

This area should be utilized for brief tasks, and not as a lengthy workstation, to ensure that we limit the amount of traffic and access for all residents.

a.lounge 

7:00 AM – 10:00 PM Daily

Maximum of 12 guests permitted in the lounge at any given time.

Maximum of 4 guests can be seated together per table. Bar seating is currently not available.

Guests are welcome to BYO wine/beer/spirits.

Diners must wear masks when not seated at a table and/or when not eating/drinking.

a.pool 

Maximum 5 guests in the pool and a maximum 10 guests in the pool room.

Please limit pool usage to no more than 2 hours when the space is active.

Please shower before entering and wear proper swimwear attire. For sanitation purposes, we ask that you bring your own towel.

a.fitness

Maximum of 10 residents.

Masks are required in all areas of the fitness center as required by city ordinance.

While AKA team members will be providing general sanitation coverage, we ask that all guests take responsibility for sanitizing their workstations upon completion.

The bottle filling station will be available, but the water fountains will remain out of service.

We encourage guests to bring their own fitness towels, mats, bands, jump ropes, bottle for hydration, etc.

Semi-private fitness classes will be unavailable until further notice. Personal trainers are not permitted at this time.

Locker Rooms

Maximum occupancy of 3 persons per locker room.  

We encourage guests to bring their own towel as AKA towel service is temporarily unavailable.

OTHER SERVICES

Housekeeping Services

AKA is providing bi-weekly housekeeping services for guests with reservations 30 days or longer.

AKA has temporarily suspended housekeeping services for guests with reservations less than 30 days; please contact Resident Services to request an AKA housekeeping cleaning kit.

Tesla House Car

Temporarily suspended.

Deliveries

We continue to request that all residents/guests retrieve grocery orders, food service deliveries, etc. in the lobby, to avoid unnecessary exposure to elevators and residential floors.

Cira Green

Will remain open sunrise until sunset, although programming of events remains suspended.

Walnut Street Café 

Tues –  Thurs 11:00AM – 8:00PM 
Fri 11:00 AM – 9:00PM
Sat 10:00AM – 9:00PM
Sun 10:00AM– 3:00PM

The Post

Tues – Thurs 4:00PM – 10:00PM

Sunset Social 

Closed for Season.
