Dec 10th: Winter Wine Dinner at a.lounge+bar

Join us at a.lounge for an intimate celebration where centuries whisper through every glass. As winter settles into evening, we invite you to gather around our table for a journey through Piedmont's storied vineyards—where time moves slowly and tradition runs deep as the roots themselves. Each wine carries the weight of generations, each bottle a love letter written in hillside fog and patient hands. Our chef has crafted a menu that honors this legacy, composing dishes that dance alongside these exceptional wines—each course a conversation between earth and elegance, between the old country and our table. This is warmth bottled and shared. This is the kind of evening where laughter lingers, where strangers become friends, and where every sip tells a story hundreds of years in the making. Come. Sit with us. Feel the glow of good company, the comfort of extraordinary food, and the quiet magic of wines that have waited lifetimes to meet you.

Dec 11th: Callie Gullickson Book Tour "Mocktail Hour"

Join us to celebrate the release of Peloton instructor Callie Gullickson's new mocktail cook book, Mocktail Hour. This mocktail book is filled with my favorite vibrant, feel-good recipes that bring joy to your routine. Whether you’re unwinding solo or hosting your besties, there’s a sip and self care tip in here for every mood and moment.

Dec 14th: Silent Reading Party

Sunday, December 14, 2025

This December, embrace the quieter side of the holidays. Hotel AKA Alexandria and Old Town Books invite you to a Holiday Silent Reading Party —an afternoon made for book lovers who appreciate good stories, great drinks, and a little seasonal sparkle.

Join us on Sunday, December 14th, from 1:30–3:30 PM at a.lounge+bar. Bring your current read, order a holiday cocktail or mocktail (included with your ticket), and enjoy a relaxed space designed for uninterrupted reading and good vibes.

Arrive early at 1 PM to take part in our craft add-on with Relume: a My Year in Books ornament workshop. Look back on your year of reading as you assemble tiny books and create a charming keepsake for your tree. Haven’t read as much as you hoped? No worries—just share a few favorites and you can still make a personalized ornament. You’ll have the option to add this experience when purchasing your Silent Reading Party ticket.

Old Town Books will also be on-site with cozy holiday reads and picks from their holiday gift guide, perfect for discovering your next favorite or finding a gift-worthy title. It’s a festive, book-filled afternoon you won’t want to miss.
