AKA continues to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in all property areas. We follow social distancing and hygiene guidelines provided by the CDC, federal, state and local health departments.

All residents who travelled from a country, state or territory listed on the NYS Travel Advisory within the last 14 days must show proof of a completed Traveler Health Form or must complete a new form to check-in.

With the health and well-being of our residents and team members, please follow the guidelines provided by New York State Department of Health (DOH): 

  • Practice social distancing at all times. 
  • Masks/ Face Coverings are required except while eating or drinking. 
  • Wash hands frequently for 20 seconds. 
  • Follow appropriate respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette. 
  • Disinfect equipment before and after each use. 
  • Stay in your suite if feeling sick. 
  • Call 866.692.3641, press 1 if experiencing symptoms or exposure to COVID- 19. 
  • Discard all personal trash, gloves and masks in the wastebaskets provided.
  • Quarantine, pursuant to the DOH travel advisory, if traveled out of state with significant community transmission of COVID- 19.

AKA follows the NYS and NYC Health Department mandates by requiring all residents to complete the NYS mandatory COVID-19 Health Screening form prior to utilizing our reopened AKA amenities.  

We ask that residents arrive no later than 15 minutes of appointment time and cancel any appointments in Microsoft Bookings so other residents may reserve the appointment time.  Appointments may be scheduled up to 48 hours in advance.

7 days a week.  9 AM – 6 PM.

Maximum of 1 resident or 1 suite per appointment; no more than 33% legal maximum occupancy; inclusive of residents and Team Members.  Each appointment is 1 hour, and each resident will have access to book one appointment per day.  Check-in at the front desk for your scheduled appointment time so our Resident Services Team Member may provide access to the fitness center.

Protective face covering must always be worn while working out.  New York State has instructed that bandanas, buffs, and gaiters are not acceptable for fitness centers.

While AKA team members will be providing cleanliness and disinfection coverage, we ask that all residents take responsibility for disinfecting the workstations before use and upon completion. The bottle filling station will be open.  We encourage you to bring your own bottle for hydration and your own fitness accessories such as fitness towels, mats, bands, jump ropes, etc.  Personal trainers are temporarily not permitted in compliance with NYS maximum occupancy mandate.

7 days a week.  9 AM – 6 PM.

Maximum of 10 residents.  While the lounge will not be providing beverage service, residents are welcome to enjoy the space.


Coffee / Tea Service


Deliveries – We continue to request that all residents/guests to retrieve grocery orders, food service deliveries, etc. in the lobby, to avoid unnecessary exposure to elevators and residential floors.
